The track is all AE, triggered over CV/gate by an Akai MPC1, no midi (or AE sequencers) were involved. All FX except a small amount of Reverb are AE. The idea was to do a 12 bar sequence and do vaiations around it but only using the same notes/triggers - i.e. just drop sounds in/out. Each sound is brought in during the first 12 bars, they all play for 12 bars, then a few variations of the 12 bar where a sound (or 2) is dropped out, the full sequence again and that's it! The wierd burbly bass thing is the Kaestle Drum, the lead sound is the Wavetables thu' the Kuzmin filter, the bass is a VCO thru' the MS20 filter and the sweeping swoopy thing is the Rains module. Various LFOs provide the modulation which are 90% of the variation (each time you play the song on the AE it changes as the LFOs are not synced to anything). The Kick and Snare are the Drumkit010 module.

It's hard to pick a track but the opening bits of Sunsmack let you know what you're in for and the rest of the EP doesn't let up at all. Fantastic all the way through. J Brandt

Saw the YouTube video for this one and had to pick it up ASAP. Hainbach and Look Mum No Computer are both stellar but this little collaboration is truly out of this world. osmotic
