My track was made using a number of different patches which I chopped up and edited together and synced with midi clock using GarageBand. All delay, reverb, compression and panning are done in post.
The bassline is the wave tables oscillator through a DIY Moritz Klein M-20 filter and sequenced using the seq-16.
The normal drums are the kick module, filtered noise for hi hats and filtered noise combined with the fmosc through a DIY low pass gate for the snare drum. All sequenced using the topograph.
The crazy drums are made using the kaestle drum.
The strange noisy parts are made using the kaestle and algodrone.
The main chord progression is the wave tables through the signal amp (for overdrive) and then filtered using the DIY filter. I used a rockband 3 keyboard as a midi controller to play multiple layers at different octaves while messing with the detune on the wavetables. This is the patch shown in the photo.

It's hard to pick a track but the opening bits of Sunsmack let you know what you're in for and the rest of the EP doesn't let up at all. Fantastic all the way through. J Brandt

Saw the YouTube video for this one and had to pick it up ASAP. Hainbach and Look Mum No Computer are both stellar but this little collaboration is truly out of this world. osmotic
