I use two quantizers in Phrygian mode for most of the patch with a brief deviation to Dorian and Ionian (Major). The patch uses five voices: Two WAVETABLES oscillators, one original VCO, one FMOS and the RAINS resonator. Two LOPAGs and 2ENV take care of the envelopes. The LOPAG is alto the filter for the WAVESTABLES. The FMOS runs a sign wave through a wavefolder. Likewise the original VCO runs a triangle throug ha wave folder. Sequences happens through three SEQ16s and one SEQ8. The rbss, chaos generator, slew limiter and sample and hold take care of the solo voice. The slew limiter and 2ENV are controlled via separate sample and hold modules to vary the articulation, scoops and bend in the solo voice.
It's hard to pick a track but the opening bits of Sunsmack let you know what you're in for and the rest of the EP doesn't let up at all. Fantastic all the way through. J Brandt
Saw the YouTube video for this one and had to pick it up ASAP. Hainbach and Look Mum No Computer are both stellar but this little collaboration is truly out of this world. osmotic
