The serenade was completed in Cardiff in 2021 around the time the Pretentious Man Band was working on the first act of their opera "Don Buchlanni." It is not known why this piece was composed, Wolfgang Hildescheimer surmised that since most of the band's serenades were written on commission, that this serenade must be a commissioned piece with the original patron not recorded.
The traditionally used name of the work comes from the file name of the Pretentious Man Band's personal hard drive, which reads "Eine Kliene Bleepz Bloopen.wav." Of course, Zaslaw and Cowdery are quick to point out that the band was bestowing a special name upon the piece, but simply making a note when looking back.
All voices are the Wavetables acting as an oscillator with a triangle LFO modulating the table and each voice is routed to a different filter. The soprano voice is through the Nyle’s bandpass, the alto voice is through an MS-20, the tenor voice is through the SV filter, and the bass voice is through the Wasp filter. An ADSR envelope was used for each voice with minimal tweaking between voices. An AD envelope was routed to the filter’s cutoff and the decay was modulated using the Wonkystuff RBSS module. Slew was applied to the pitch in various ways (one used with only ascending melodies, one for both directions, and off for two), and the downward detection was used to step the RBSS through its semi-random modulation.

It's hard to pick a track but the opening bits of Sunsmack let you know what you're in for and the rest of the EP doesn't let up at all. Fantastic all the way through. J Brandt

Wonderful album in the Berlin School tradition that you can't help but listen to several times in a row (as I did, again, today)! Krakenkraft/Etherkraken
