Patch notes:

'Botormootje' was my biggest patch yet, where I ran out of cables, envelopes and LFO's. The track is recorded straight from AE, with Ableton used for FX and mixing. All 'arrangement' was done live on AE, mainly using the fantastic 4ATT/mix modules with faders for this. It includes seven different voices, of which 4 are melodic, and 3 are kick + hihatt + snare. A short runthrough of the patch:

First lead sound: the softer lead sound starting the track. This is two slightly detuned saw waves from the 2Osc/d module running through the MS20 filter. Notes are controlled by my Five Steps module prototype, which is in turn transposed using the RBSS, and then quantized. Gates are controlled by the SEQ8.

Second lead sound: follows the first one more or less, its the bit harder, more distorted sound. It follows the first one because it also uses the gates from the SEQ8, but its melody is controlled by the SEQ8 too (quantized). Making it shift to other melodies than the other lead. The sound is generated by Grains (default software), filter by the Nylefilter (bandpass).
Solina: this one goes through the MultiFX deapspace, it comes in at about 2min.

Last melodic sound comes in at min3. Its the Algodrone providing some dirty, rhythmic punch. It is unfiltered, it only goes through a VCA to control the rhythm.

Kick: made with the FMOS module, 2Env and an attenuator. One env is used to control its note length with a VCA. Second, very short envelope is used to control the pitch, but to make it musical, it is essential to also use an attenuator for this envelope. The short rise in pitch gives the low sine wave note its punch. (essentially simulating the sound of a kick drum getting struck, having a higher 'note' at the impact). Triggers are controlled by the topograph.

hihatt: white noise that is filtered through the wasp filter
snare: a bunch of sounds (solina, algodrone, white noise, a triangle VCO), mixed together and filtered with the Dead Band. Controlled by the Topograph.
