from Æther Waves Vol. 4 by Æther Waves

/

about

Sound sources:
Kick, Drum Kit, Noise
VCO saw, FMOS, Harpejji*

CV sources:
Master LFO (1 cycle/beat)
TRIQ164
Mod LFO (slow)

Post-processing:
RC-505mk2

The opening pad comes from the Harpejji running through 2SIGNALAMP and Wasp, then some effects on the 505.

The opening drum beat was captured to the 505 and post-processed with effects.

After the first breakdown, we switch to live drums from the Kick, Drum Kit and Noise via LOPAG.

The pulsed drone starting near 1:11 is the FMOS going into the Nyle's LP and BP inputs.

The pulsed drone starting near 2:09 is the VCO going into the SVFilter and a VCA driven by the master LFO's triangle out.

The high pulse starting near 3:02 is the Harpejji as above, but with the Wasp closed and opened by an envelope CV.

The rest of the track recombines earlier elements.

*The Harpejji is an electric stringed instrument, connected to the Master Audio In.
