I was on a workation travel through France when I saw the forum message for the submission. It's a shame I had no AE modular with me, but it didn't fit in the luggage (I wanted to build a small travel system but there was no time for it…). But I had a hdd with some unused session recordings on it. So I used a handful of these recordings to create a track in Ableton Live 11, mostly with Simpler. And because of all this, I don't remember exactly which modules are involved. But all source sounds are from the AEmodular, some of the fx, too (for example around the twirling noise, which is some LFO thingy, originally mono, but played here on two tracks with slightly different pitch). The bass drum and the noise drums had originally been from heavy LFO clicks in LoFiDelay. The 'theme' (no real theme, I didn't want to use pitch sampled tunes) may be 2OSC/d with Nyquist and some MS20. In Ableton I added some fx, compression etc., dito while finalising in Reaper. So "Anatolios" is more 'constructed' than played, but I can hear it's AE…
It's hard to pick a track but the opening bits of Sunsmack let you know what you're in for and the rest of the EP doesn't let up at all. Fantastic all the way through. J Brandt

Every time I go listen to some other ambient artist and come back to State Azure's works I am blown away anew by the high quality of his productions. They have depth, they have color, they have emotion. There just aren't enough good things to say about them. Thank you, sir. 69dragynz
